Colonel David Martinez graduated from the University at Albany in 1985 and was commissioned from the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) in 1984. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Marist College. His military education includes the Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course, FORSCOM Intelligence Course, Counterterrorism Course, Ordnance Officer Advanced Course, Junior Officer Maintenance Course, Force Modernization Course, Force Management Course, Combined Arms Staff Service Course, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, U.S. Army War College Distance Education Program and Reserve Component Theater Sustainment Course.
